STAND STRONG

In a world still healing, the power of public art remains as potent and urgent as ever. "STAND STRONG," presented by Long Beach Walls in collaboration with Thinkspace Projects, arrives as both a celebration and a rallying cry. Opening July 26th, 2025, this sprawling group show anchors the Long Beach Walls street art festival with a lineup of some of the most vital and dynamic voices in contemporary art today.

From the dreamlike compositions of Cinta Vidal to the emotive linework of Esao Andrews, and the layered mysticism of Cryptik, "STAND STRONG" reads like a curated snapshot of global visual culture. Artists like Andrew Hem and DULK create immersive worlds steeped in narrative, while MILLO and Allison Bamcat bring a delicate yet forceful pop sensibility that commands space and spirit alike.

Set against the industrial-modern edge of Long Beach and activated by a closing party on Saturday, July 26 from 4-9PM, the exhibition offers more than just aesthetic experience—it is a meditation on community, struggle, and endurance. It is open during the week as well, on July 24 and 25 from 1-6PM.

What defines this show is not just its breadth of talent—from the kinetic stylings of Insane 51 to the social commentary of Bumblebeelovesyou—but its underlying ethos: a shared commitment to art as resistance and connection. As voices like Sarah Joncas, Mr. B Baby, and Super A demonstrate, figurative expression is anything but passive. It is bold, intentional, and relentlessly human.

Long Beach Walls has long been a cultural touchstone in the SoCal creative landscape. But this year, with "STAND STRONG," they go beyond murals and bring the pulse of the streets into a gallery format, fostering reflection and dialogue.

It is not just a show. It is a reminder: to stand firm, to speak visually, and to gather strength through shared vision.
